The Fireman’s Texas Cruzer Longboard was originally conceived and prototyped in 1992. To compliment the Fireman’s line of bicycles, the traditionally designed longboard went into production in early 2000, and is now available to the public. The Fireman’s Texas Cruzer Longboard is modeled after the ancient Hawaiian Redwood “Gun” design, and is available in a variety of lengths. The board is made of 5/8” birch wood which gives it a great feel on the street.  The Fireman’s Texas Cruzer Longboard is designed by Fireman and handcrafted by local shaper John Bigga who plans to launch his own line of boards in early 2000.  The longboards are handpainted in Austin with the help of local artist John Henry, and are finished with only the finest hardware.
